Features of the DC-1 Boy welding helmet
The DC-1 BOY welding helmet combines protection, comfort and exceptionally clear vision, so you can weld safely without tiring too quickly. Its lightweight design, combined with a headgear system equipped with DRM and DRP, ensures maximum comfort and the best protection for more comfortable use during long working days.
At the heart of the helmet is the ADF-BW142 auto-darkening filter, featuring True Color LCD technology and a light shade of 3, giving you a more natural view of both the surroundings and the arc. It comes with a digital display and a dual dark shade range (internal selection 5–8 and 9–13) operated via internal buttons, making it intuitive to adapt to different welding processes. It also allows internal adjustment of sensitivity and delay time, fine-tuning the filter’s response to suit your way of working.
It includes a grind mode, ideal for switching tasks without having to remove the helmet. It is powered by solar energy plus 2 replaceable CR2032 batteries, and thanks to its 4 sensors, it provides reliable arc detection even in difficult positions.
