The new powered respirator systems, consisting of the DACAiR powered air unit, the WH02 Grand welding helmet and 2 batteries, are the most effective and versatile option for protection against harmful particles in the form of dust, fumes or mists generated during welding and related processes.

With a constant focus on user safety and protection, DACAiR powered air systems meet the highest standards in respiratory protection. DACAiR WH02 systems are certified in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and comply with EN 12941:1998 + A1:2003 + A2:2008 in class TH2.

The WH02 helmet with the V958I Plus filter features a next-generation 98 x 87 mm ultra-light grey LCD with True Color technology for optimum comfort, both while welding and when not welding. It minimises the feeling of claustrophobia that can be caused by a filter with a limited viewing area and also enhances safety, as the operator benefits from a very wide field of vision and can detect any source of danger nearby.

Powered air unit

Consisting of a compact and lightweight powered air unit (920 g) with a replaceable P R SL filter for particles and aerosols, plus a pre-filter, the DACAiR unit is powered by a replaceable and rechargeable Li-ion battery and allows a choice between two airflow rates: 180 or 220 l/min, with electronically controlled constant airflow at all times.

With long operating autonomy (up to more than 8 hours), as well as visual and audible alarms in case of low battery or saturated filter for enhanced safety, the DACAiR powered air system is managed via an easy and intuitive monitored control panel for greater efficiency. Its blower filters and directs the air, creating positive pressure inside the head unit to supply breathable-quality air and prevent toxic fumes from entering the nose and mouth area, while also providing a pleasant cooling effect.

It is also worth noting that, thanks to their compact dimensions, DACAiR powered air systems can be used with complete freedom of movement in confined spaces, while offering maximum comfort through their easily adjustable belt with padded back support.

Head unit

The viewing area of the WH-02 DACAiR welding helmet will impress you. With an extra-large viewing area (98 x 87 mm) and outstanding clarity, it delivers optimum comfort throughout the working day. Its dual dark shade range allows it to be used for all types of welding, oxy-fuel cutting and micro-plasma applications.

The WH-02 DACAiR welding helmet, finished in gloss black, is equipped with an adjustable flame-retardant fabric face seal, as well as an air duct that channels the clean air supplied by the DACAiR powered air unit to the front of the helmet. Thanks to the integrated deflector, the airflow provides a pleasant cooling effect without interfering with visibility.

Equipped with a harness featuring D.R.M. (Weight Distribution Device), the WH-02 DACAiR welding helmet is highly comfortable to wear over long working periods, as it improves weight distribution and reduces strain on the back of the neck.
